There are 6 different type treatments and 3 logo sizes used in our standard banner sizes. This ensures simplicity and consistency. For custom units, pick the treatment on the right that best fits your unit.
In order to determine the correct font size of your ad’s headline, you must reference the system below. Use increment of size that align to establish our core type sizes, so that everyone creates consistent work.
Implementing VZ's 5% PRINT rule to the digital medium requires an adjustment to maintain brand consistency. Based on the ratio of the banner, we updated the values to 6, 8 and 11% to guarantee the use of the 10 px, 15 px, and 20 px margins. This gives us 3 sets of margins and logo sizes that can be use through the different formats.
Horizontal banners are divided into 8 columns. All vertical and square formats are divided into 4 columns. For custom units, use only 10px, 15px, or 20px padding. Extreme horizontal banners are divided into 16 columns.
on Promo units, Horizontal formats, keep the same padding as the margin. For vertical banners, use 2x the margin.
